SHIPPING
Randall Leather Machinery will ship in-stock items the same day, if the order is received before 2:30PM (Central) on a regular workday.
All items are shipped via regular ground UPS, FedEx, or US Postal Service. We will ship Next Day Air, Second Day Air, or 3-Day Select upon request, charging applicable rates.
When ordering machinery, we will ship via freight carrier. Your shipping charges will be factored from our volume discount. (Bench machines can be shipped via UPS.) CBMC reserves the right to select carriers, including all package services, air carriers and motor freight carriers for delivery, unless otherwise specified by the customer. If you have an account with a freight carrier that offers you a discount, we will be glad to use your carrier, if they consent to pickup in our area.
It is our intention to select the most economical method of transit.
Delivery time is based on: a) time required to process the order and b) time used by carrier to deliver the package.CBMC is not responsible for shipping delays caused by delivery services (ie. FedEx, UPS, etc.).
All shortages, claims, and discrepancies must be reported to RLM within five (5) days of delivery. Failure to make such a timely claim shall constitute a complete and irrevocable acceptance of the shipment.
Shipping charges for open accounts, credit card sales, and COD orders will be added at the time of shipment based on the weight of your order. You will be charged the appropriate rates for UPS, FedEx, or U.S. Postal Service.
If you are sending a check or money order, please include an additional 10% of your order total with your payment to apply towards shipping. A minimum shipping charge of $5.00 will apply to orders totaling less than $50.
Insurance will be added when your order totals more than $100.
DAMAGED SHIPMENT
Every effort has been made to ensure that your order will arrive safely after it leaves us.
It is your responsibility to inspect your packages thoroughly upon receipt for any damages/defects. Any visual carton damage or breakage observed must be noted on the delivery receipt as Damaged Package(s) before signing.
Make all claims directly with the carrier. For freight truck deliveries, ask the driver for an exception number prior to his departure. It is required keep the original damaged mailing package until further notice.
We will make sure all damaged articles are replaced in an expedient manner. Failure to make a claim within 24 hours of receipt with carrier will result in denial of claim. No Exceptions. Email us or call us for further important instructions on filing a lost or defective/damaged package claim.
It is the responsibility of the customer to report any damages or shortages to CBMC within 48 hours of receiving the product. No claims will be accepted after 48 hours.
RETURNS
We strive to carry a wide range of quality tools, supplies, and equipment to meet the needs of our customers. If a product purchased by you proves to be defective or not to your reasonable satisfaction, you can return the product within 30 days of receipt, to the address listed on the invoice.
All returns after 30 days of receipt are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
A Return Merchandise Authorization or RMA number is required for all returns and must be placed on the outside of the package. To obtain a RMA number, contact us phone at 361-293-7015. The RMA is valid for 30 days ONLY. After the 30 day time limit, the RMA remains invalid.
Sorry, but shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, however, if the return is required due to our error we will pay the shipping charges. The customer is liable for all shipping costs when returning or exchanging an item to CBMC, unless the product has been damaged during the shipping process (see damaged shipment policy). This policy also applies when doing warranty returns.
Packages must be properly boxed before they are returned. If a return is shipped improperly and damaged, the customer is responsible for the replacment cost.
When you return an item, please indicate the reason for the return. You may also want to insure your return; we cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected returns.
If you paid for your order by credit card, a credit will be issued and will appear on your billing statement. The purchase price at time of sale is final. All returns must be accompanied with a copy of your receipt, or no refund will be issued.
Returns of used, custom made, modified, or damaged products will not be accepted.
NON-DELIVERED ORDERS
If, for whatever reason, a shipment is returned to us due to an incorrect address, (supplied by the customer) nobody home, not picked up, etc., the customer shall be charged any fees charged by the returning delivery service.
Should a package be refused or returned to us unopened, the customer shall be charged a restocking fee of 20% of the order amount and/ or pay shipping cost to re-ship the order.
